On March 30th at 10 am, Wine Alliance Board Member and Treasurer Mike Stubbs will be teaching an introductory course on winery finances and business.

Mike is the Head of Accounting for Suveg Cellars, and has multiple decades of experience as a corporate CFO. His knowledge of winery finance is wide ranging, playing an integral role in the success of Suveg Cellars. For anyone looking to invest in the Yucaipa Valley Wine industry, grow grapes, make wine, or sell wine in the future, we cannot emphasize the value of this class enough.

In this introductory course, Mike will be covering important topics such as:

• Organizational structure and liability exposure

• A deep dive into regulatory compliance and federal and state levels

• Basic record keeping for a winery

• Startup costs and investments

Tickets for Wine Alliance Membership will be $25 from today until March 25th, at which point tickets will go up to $35 dollars. Industry Members may of course attend classes for free, and retail tickets will be $65 and move up to $65..
