On the 1stof August, President of the YVWA Craig Suveg will be teaching vineyard canopy management in his personal Cabernet Vineyard! For all aspiring grape growers and viticulturists, this class offers indispensable information about how to maintain a vineyard during the peak summer months.
In this class you will:
Learn the proper technique for cutting back vines
Learn vine training, and how to encourage the proper type of vine growth
Help to prune Craig’s vine’s, and learn about the different styles of canopy management
See firsthand tools, equipment, and other materials
The class will be held outdoors in the vineyard, and we recommend wearing outside clothing appropriate for gardening. Bring boots and gloves.
Retail tickets will be $50.
If you’d like to join the Yucaipa Valley Wine Alliance for a $50 yearly membership, your first class will be free! Just make sure to email us an say you’re attending. Classes are normally only $25 for members of the Alliance! And free for Industry Members!
